Chime will determine if you are eligible for the Mobile Check Deposit feature based on the history of any Chime-branded accounts you have, direct deposit history, and direct deposit amounts and other risk-based factors. Chime offers mobile check deposit to members who receive payroll direct deposits. From getting fast access to a birthday check to turning that tax refund check into cash, there are a number of reasons why you might need to cash a check from your phone. If your bank doesn’t offer mobile check deposit, you can still compare the top check-cashing apps to find the best one for your needs. The check has to be destroyed now because I already endorsed it as a mobile deposit to Chime. So now I have to return to the legacy bank and get a new check or get cash. But cash is also pretty much worthless at Chime too. You can only deposit $500 at a time for a $5 fee.
